While we sleep at night our bodies are in cleanse cycle and our saliva doesn’t circulate. Consequently, we wake up in the morning with a mouth full of bad oral bacteria and yucky breath.
Taking a big gulp of water first thing in the morning leads to swallowing this bacteria that your body worked so hard on removing the night before. Rather than re-ingesting this bacteria and taxing your immune system when you wake up, we suggest following our morning mouth protocol.
First thing when you wake up, think to yourself “Don’t Swallow.” Get out of bed, go to the bathroom, and spit your bacteria-on-steroids saliva in the sink. Squirt approximately ⅓ of an ounce of Organic Brushing Rinse in your mouth and swish for about 60 seconds while you do what you do first thing in the morning in the bathroom.
With the rinse still in your mouth, tilt your head back and brush each tooth carefully, and also your tongue. The Brushing Rinse will foam like mad because the bacteria count is so high. Spit it out and swish with water to stop the foaming.
Your mouth and your immune system will thank you!
