Have you made a New Year’s resolution to never smell bad doggy breath again? Your dog’s oral health; their breath, teeth whiteness, and gum health is just as important as yours. Trying to brush their teeth regularly can be a nightmare. The dangers of having them knocked out at the vet are even more grim. Plus, who wants that annual expense? Additionally, make sure to avoid pet toothpaste that isn’t all natural.
Here is what I do for an easy going pup. Spray about 4 shots of 3% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide in their mouth, and brush. If they are the kind of dog who runs if you even try to touch their paw – just lift their lips and spray on their gums and forgo the brushing. You can also add some Brushing Rinse to the 8 oz. Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide spray bottle once you have used it a few times.
For daily doggy oral health care, letting them chew on all-natural antler sheds is a great option to keep their grin glowing year round.
Some people might be concerned about using hydrogen peroxide given that vets sometimes use it to induce vomiting, but it is a matter of degree. A couple sprays will dramatically improve their oral health without making woof their cookies.
So now you can kiss your dog in 2016 and you won’t be knocked out by dog breath!
