OUR CLIMATE COMMITMENT
Essential Oxygen is committed to doing our part to limit global warming to 1.5°C, the threshold the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has identified as critical for avoiding the worst impacts of climate change. As a Certified B Corporation and a woman owned company making non-toxic oral care and household cleaning products, we recognize that our business activities contribute to greenhouse gas emissions, and that we have both a responsibility and an opportunity to reduce those contributions.
This summary shares the priorities and targets that guide our climate work. We focus on the areas where we can make the most meaningful and verifiable progress, starting with our most significant material impact: product packaging.

Packaging is where we have made the most credible, measurable progress.
Essential Oxygen has achieved 100% post consumer recycled content across our paper and plastic packaging. By using recycled material instead of virgin plastic, we directly reduce demand for new plastic production and its associated carbon footprint. This already exceeds the most ambitious global packaging regulations on the horizon.

We pursue this work in partnership with our employees, packaging suppliers, contract manufacturers, customers, and the wider B Corp community. Climate action is not something we can do in isolation, and we welcome feedback as we go.
Accountability
This is a living plan. It is reviewed and approved annually by Essential Oxygen's highest governing body, and we will publicly share our progress against these targets, including what we have done, what we have achieved, and how the plan has changed based on experience.
