Gentle daily oral care, designed to clean without enamel erosion.
Overview
Essential Oxygen's Low Abrasion Organic Toothpaste is the daily toothpaste we built for people who want a genuinely gentle formula that still does real work. It's fluoride-free, low abrasion, and whitens through chemistry rather than scrubbing, using food grade hydrogen peroxide instead of a harsher abrasive load.
It's Step Two of The Pristine Protocol, EO's three step oral care system, and it's designed to be the everyday anchor: something patients can use twice a day, every day, without asking their enamel to pay for it.
Why This Product?
Most whitening toothpastes lean on abrasion to do their job, more scrubbing power, more surface polish, and over years, more cumulative wear. We asked a different question: what if the whitening came from chemistry instead of friction? That's what led us to an RDA of approximately 12, among the gentlest dentifrice formulations available, while food grade hydrogen peroxide handles the actual stain reduction through oxidation.
Rather than asking one toothpaste to be both the daily cleaner and the aggressive stain remover, we split the job in two. This toothpaste is the gentle, every day step. Essential Oxygen On-Demand Tooth Polish is the occasional, as needed step for extra polish. That way, patients get to choose when they want more, instead of getting more abrasion every single time they brush.
Who Is the Product For?

The Essential Oil Blend
There's a story behind this particular blend.
During the plague years, legend has it a band of thieves robbed the sick and the dead and somehow stayed well themselves. When they were finally caught, they traded their secret for leniency: an aromatic blend of botanicals they wore and breathed to stay protected. The classic "Thieves" oils are clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and rosemary. Our blend draws on that same lineage, and extends it with peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen, and frankincense, so the botanical character carries through the whole Pristine Protocol, from rinse to paste to polish.
| Essential Oil | Its Role in the Blend |
|---|---|
| Wintergreen | Contributes to the formula's cooling, fresh flavor profile |
| Cinnamon Leaf | Part of the traditional Thieves blend, contributes warmth to the flavor |
| Eucalyptus Leaf | Part of the traditional Thieves blend, contributes to aroma and freshness |
| Clove Bud | Part of the traditional Thieves blend, contributes a distinctive spice note |
| Lemon Peel | Part of the traditional Thieves blend, brightens the flavor profile |
| Rosemary Leaf | Part of the traditional Thieves blend, rounds out the aromatic complexity |
| Frankincense | Included for its place in the botanical tradition |
Suggested Use
Brush thoroughly with Essential Oxygen Organic Low Abrasion Toothpaste as part of a regular oral hygiene routine, morning and night.
Pair It with On-Demand Tooth Polish
This toothpaste is designed to work alongside Essential Oxygen On-Demand Tooth Polish, not to replace it. Use the toothpaste daily for gentle, low abrasion cleaning, and bring in the Polish periodically when a patient wants extra help with surface stain or buildup. Keeping the two separate is what lets the daily paste stay this gentle. Learn more about On-Demand Tooth Polish at essentialoxygen.com/products/on-demand-tooth-polish-peppermint.
Dental professionals should adjust recommendations based on each patient's enamel condition, dentin exposure, sensitivity, restorations, periodontal status, staining pattern, and overall oral health needs.
